Welcome to the new look of the Krayola Kidd's DA Journal.
I found this skin right here on DA, there is a link below to the fella that designed it. I may design up something myself in the future, but for now I am gonna stick with this one.
So, what is happening everyone? I have been very out of the loop lately with work, commissions and the common cold. The last one knocking me on my butt for a good solid week. Heck. I am still feeling the effects of it and the crazy hot-cold-hot-cold weather we have been having in Savannah hasn't helped much.
Also, work has been pretty busy lately (which is awesome, don't get me wrong). However, it has really cut into my art time, so I pretty much draw whenever I see a break. Like when I'm sitting on hold with a processor or waiting to see the doctor or at lunch or waiting for the kids to file in for the Youth Group I help teach at church. Where and when I can, you know. The thing that has really helped with this is a birthday gift I got this year. A pocket size Moleskine sketch book.
Man, O Man. Let me tell you, brothers and sisters, I love this thing. It fits perfectly in my back pocket, I thought it would have been too small at first, but nope it is great. I think they may well become my new size go-to sketch book. I am going to be putting up a new Gallery called Mini-Moleskine that will have all the sketches from the pocket Moleskine, so I hope y'all will take a look when I get it installed and updated.
For everyone who is holding out for commissions from me, please don't worry. I am still at work on all of them and now that this blasted cold, God willing, is on its way out I'll be back to full steam soon and getting the lead, or in this case, graphite out and draw up a storm.
Later,
the Kidd
